Two-Wire Radar Level Transmitter | MT-300NR-T
An 80GHz two-wire radar level transmitter with non-contact measurement, IP67 housing, ≤0.5W power consumption and 4-20mA output. Large LCD display, built-in temperature compensation, simple two-wire wiring.
Description
Product Overview
The MT-300NR-T is an integrated two-wire radar level transmitter built around an 80 GHz high-frequency radar chip. It measures the distance from the antenna to the liquid surface and converts it into a level reading, without the sensor ever touching the measured medium.
Because the probe hangs above the liquid, it is not exposed to corrosion or scaling — a decisive advantage over submersible and contact level sensors in wastewater, circulating water and drainage duty. Two-wire wiring keeps installation simple, with the 4–20 mA loop carrying both power and signal.
Key Features
- 80 GHz radar module: High-frequency chip supports distance measurement in both solid and liquid applications.
- Non-contact measurement: The probe is suspended above the liquid surface and never contacts the medium, avoiding corrosion and scaling.
- Large LCD display: Shows both level and distance directly on the device.
- 4–20 mA two-wire output: Long-distance transmission with a stable current signal.
- IP67 protection: Suitable for outdoor open-air installation.
- Ultra-low power: Whole-device consumption ≤ 0.5 W.
- Bilingual interface: Chinese and English menus can be switched for easier operation.
- Built-in temperature compensation: Compensates for temperature influence on the measurement.
- Integrated design: All-in-one construction with convenient installation.
- Corrosion-resistant probe: Built for aggressive media.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose non-contact radar over a submersible level sensor?
Because the probe never touches the liquid, it is not affected by corrosion, scaling or coating. This removes the routine cleaning and replacement that contact sensors require in wastewater and circulating water.
What does “two-wire” mean in practice?
The transmitter connects with just two wires: the 4–20 mA loop carries both power and signal, which simplifies wiring and reduces cable cost, especially over long distances.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. The housing is rated IP67 and is designed for outdoor open-air installation.
How much power does it consume?
Whole-device consumption is no more than 0.5 W, making it suitable for low-power and solar-assisted installations.
Does the display show distance as well as level?
Yes. The large LCD shows both the calculated level and the measured distance, which helps during commissioning and verification.
