What parameters can your water quality monitoring equipment measure?

A standard MATICTEST configuration combines a multi-parameter sonde with optional analyzer modules to measure up to 12 parameters in one cabinet, including pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), conductivity, turbidity, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), temperature, ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, total nitrogen, chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and residual chlorine. Custom sensor packages are available for special applications such as fluoride, hardness, heavy metals or chlorophyll.

Which model and configuration is right for my site?

Tell us your site conditions - available power, network coverage, space and the parameters you need to measure - and our engineers will recommend the right configuration: a compact micro station for narrow rivers and canals, a cabinet system for plants with rack space and PLC/SCADA integration, or a solar floating buoy for reservoirs and lakes without civil works. How often should the sensors be calibrated, and can my own team do it?

We recommend factory calibration every 2 to 4 weeks for drinking water and every 1 to 2 weeks for wastewater, depending on fouling load. Each station ships with a fully automatic self-cleaning and auto-calibration module that runs a programmed calibration cycle using onboard standard solutions, so daily maintenance is limited to reagent refill and visual inspection. For field calibration, your team only needs to follow the step-by-step guided procedure in the controller; on-site or remote video support from MATICTEST engineers is included free of charge during the warranty period.

Which communication protocols and platforms are supported?

Every MATICTEST station supports RS485 Modbus RTU as standard, with optional 4G, 5G, NB-IoT, Ethernet, Wi-Fi or LoRa uplink. Telemetry protocols include Modbus TCP, MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS REST API and IEC 60870-5-104 for SCADA integration. Data is delivered to our MATICTEST Cloud dashboard for real-time viewing, historical trends, threshold alarms and report export, or pushed to your existing SCADA/IoT platform through open APIs.

Can the equipment run off-grid on solar power?

Yes. Our stations, outdoor monitors and telemetry units are all designed for unattended off-grid operation. A typical configuration pairs an 80 W solar panel with a 50 Ah lithium battery bank and an MPPT charge controller, providing 7-day autonomy under cloudy conditions. The system includes low-power sleep modes for the analyzer and modem, with smart power management that prioritizes measurement, cleaning and transmission cycles to maximize uptime in remote locations.
