Smart Ion-Selective Sensors | Ammonium, Fluoride, Calcium, Sodium
Ion-selective electrode sensors for ammonium, fluoride, calcium and sodium. M39×1.5 standard thread, 4-20mA and RS485 Modbus RTU dual output, IP68, fast response with removable electrode for easy cleaning.
Description
Product Overview
The smart ion sensor series applies ion-selective electrode (ISE) measurement to determine the concentration of individual ions in water in real time. Each sensor targets a specific ion — ammonium, fluoride, calcium or sodium — giving process operators and environmental monitors a direct read-out of the species they care about.
All models share an M39 × 1.5 standard threaded body that suits pipe-mounted and submerged tank installation. The electrode assembly can be removed and cleaned quickly, and the sensors support both 4–20 mA and RS485 Modbus RTU output for straightforward integration.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does an ion-selective sensor work?
Ion-selective electrode measurement uses a membrane that responds potentiometrically to a specific ion. The resulting potential is converted into a concentration value, giving a direct reading of that ion in the water.
Can one sensor measure several ions?
Each sensor is configured for a specific ion. Multi-ion monitoring is achieved by installing several sensors — ammonium, fluoride, calcium and sodium models can be combined on the same RS485 bus.
How is the electrode maintained?
The electrode assembly can be disassembled and cleaned quickly, which keeps routine maintenance short even under continuous online operation.
What pH range must the sample be in?
This depends on the ion model. The ammonium sensor operates over 4–10 pH, and the fluoride sensor over 5–7 pH. Staying inside the stated range keeps the measurement accurate.
Where is the sensor installed?
The M39 × 1.5 standard thread supports both pipe-mounted and submerged tank (investment) installations.
